Software for people on the go.

Our favourite tools, tried on our own travels. Here’s what we use to create content on the go and find tours worth making time for.

Voice typing · Content on the go

Wispr Flow

When we started using more AI, typing instructions became the bottleneck. Wispr Flow changed that: we can speak our ideas and instructions into our phones instead.

On the bus, on the train, out for a walk, or at a café, it helps us work with our favourite AI tools to write and publish blog posts and social posts, including optimising them for search.

If you have plenty of ideas but typing slows you down, this is one of our favourite tools for getting them out.

Travel planning · Shorter tours

Viator

Our go-to for shorter tours. We’ve booked through Viator for years and have never been disappointed with the tours we’ve chosen.

Our tip: look for high ratings backed by plenty of reviews. Reading other travellers’ experiences helps us choose how to spend our time in a new place.

Sports tickets · Compare before you book

TickPick

Heading to an NBA game, a hockey game, or the US Open? We compare ticket prices across StubHub, Ticketmaster, and TickPick. In our experience, TickPick most often comes out cheapest.

Our tip: compare similar seats and the final checkout totals before booking. We’ve also tried comparing prices on Android and iPhone and have sometimes seen prices $7–$10 lower on Android. That’s an observation from our own searches, so check both if you can—prices can change.

A few dollars can make a difference when you’re watching your budget. Use our referral link to explore the $10-off offer; TickPick’s eligibility and offer terms apply.
